Design & Shimmer Colors

When designing your custom breastmilk or DNA keepsake, you can pick from the following list of shimmer colors to include in your keepsake piece. Please indicate your color of choice on your intake form during check out. I also ask you to consider the intensity and vibrancy of the color you wish to include, the shade options go from pale until strong.

If you want to add some shimmer but still keep the ‘plain’ breastmilk look, I recommend using the Pearl shimmer in your design. This adds a beautiful delicate sparkle to the gem.

If your breastmilk has a yellow (or other color) hue and you prefer your piece to be whiter, just let me know and I can add some white pigment to it.

Below are just some examples of color intensity, each color can be mixed from pale, light, medium to strong.

Disclaimer: Each piece is handmade and unique. Colors are strongly affected by your inclusions i.e. the color of your breastmilk, therefor this is just a guideline and might not be the exact color of your final piece.

Although not pictured here, I have all birthstone colors on file as well as real birthstones. Let me know if you would like to add a certain birthstone color or some pieces of real birthstone to your piece. (Please note that for some of the real birthstones there is an additional cost)
